Hands on Business
Materials Fee: $16 (Students will also need a about $20 investment for their chosen Business)
Supplies Needed: Laptop or Tablet, Calculator, Notebook and pen.

In this class, students will dive into the exciting world of business by creating and developing their own startup ventures. This hands-on course introduces the fundamental elements of business, including entrepreneurship, business planning, marketing, finance, and operations. Students will brainstorm business ideas, conduct market research, develop business plans, and explore branding and advertising strategies.
Throughout the course, students will engage in real-world problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking as they bring their business concepts to life. They will learn about budgeting, customer service, and ethical business practices while creating prototypes or service models. By the end of the course, students will present their business plans in a pitch-style presentation, gaining valuable experience in communication and business leadership.
This course fosters creativity, resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindset, empowering students to see themselves as future business leaders and innovators.
