3D Print Lab
Materials Fee: $63
Supplies Needed: Laptop or iPad, Notebook, and Pen.
In this hands-on course, students will dive into the exciting world of 3D printing, learning how to design, troubleshoot, and bring their ideas to life using an onsite 3D printer. Through a combination of creative problem-solving and technical skills, students will explore the fundamentals of 3D modeling software, printing techniques, and material selection.
Throughout the course, students will work on engaging projects that challenge them to think critically and design functional, artistic, or innovative 3D-printed creations. They will also learn how to refine their designs, troubleshoot common printing issues, and apply real-world engineering concepts to their projects.
By the end of the class, students will have a portfolio of 3D-printed work and a strong foundation in digital fabrication, preparing them for further exploration in design, engineering, and technology.
